For math we are going to play the game "101 and out". I learned about it from The Teaching Channel. See video below for directions. It's a great way to help students practice their addition skills, while keeping with the 100th day theme.
All of us primary teachers at my school sent home a 100th day note yesterday encouraging students to dress up as hundred year olds. I can't wait to see cute little hundred year olds coming to school. To make them look even older I am going to use Aging Booth app. I used this last year and the kids loved it! Some even made grumpy faces to be grumpy old men and women. Here is the example of me I shared with my class last year to show how the app changes us: The students will be writing a paragraph about what they think it will be like when they are 100. We will be using the free "When I'm 100 - 100th Day Writing Activity" from Traci Clausen to help us plan our paragraphs. For math we are going to play the game "101 and out". I learned about it from The Teaching Channel. See video below for directions. It's a great way to help students practice their addition skills, while keeping with the 100th day theme.

I am teacher from Saskatchewan, Canada. I have taught grades 2-6 and currently I am teaching grade 3/4. Teaching often makes me smile and think, "I can't believe I get paid to do this!"
